Perhatikan cerita di atas, itu adalah contoh present continuous tense di dalam sebuah cerita. Cerita ini saya ambil dari buku Reading with understanding,for introductory2 by J.B Heaton and K. 1. Anda baca cerita tersebut, dan perhatikan penggunaan present continuous tense. Masih ingat, kan? Anda bisa ganti subjectnya, misalnya Esther menjadi I.
2. Jawab pertanyaan berikut ini:

• a. What is Esther doing to her mother?
• b. Where is Esther running?
• c. Is Esther late for school? Why?
• d. Look at picture number 2! What is Esther doing? Why she is crying?
• e. Look at picture number 3! Why is  the conductor shaking her hands?
• f. Look at picture number 4! Is the bus going to Esther’s school? Where is the bus going?
